Jace said his injury was misdiagnosed

Gave an interview to a freep writer
Season 4 Facepalm GIF by The Office

Mentioned he sought a second opinion from a doctor in Los Angeles.

Injury is not a stress fracture (Michigan Doctor's diagnosis), but a tendon tear.

Given that the rumors of this altercation stemmed from an incident with the trainer, this feels like a strategic move to broadcast this.

Guessing we will have a new strength and conditioning staff and team doctor next year.

Loveland prepares for Bama, "I do think I'm a mismatch."

Colston Loveland brings experience to this year's Playoff after bursting onto the scene as a freshman late last year.
Loveland is preparing for Alabama, a game where Nick Saban believes he could be a factor.
Loveland agrees, "I do think I'm a mismatch."

A moment that should be etched into a plaque or display at Schembechler Hall.

I went back over the last week and allowed myself the pleasure of enjoying the OSU and PSU wins free from the noise and axiety/annoyance of the Sign-gate and Jim's corresponding suspension.

Two wonderful performances at face, but given what the program had been subject to and without their head coach - an incredible tribute to this remarkable group. They've set the new standard for "Team" and "Toughness" (particularly mentally) around here.

Anyways the clips and comments coming out of the Penn State postgame were mostly centered around Sherrone Moore's raw emotion.

Less covered has been Blake Corum's comments when Moore handed the interview to him. After giving Moore a big sincere hug, Corum - his face literally still bloodied from the war he had just won - was asked if he was proud of Coach Moore. His response, no surprise, was a perfect reflection of him and this team:

"I expected nothing less (of Coach Moore). I expect nothing less from ANY of my Michigan Men. We did this for Michigan. What are you going to do when your back is against the wall and you feel like everybody is against you? What are you going to do? Are you going to cower down? Well, I was taught to stand on all ten and keep fighting. Keep punching. Keep going. I'm so proud of my university, the guys, the coaches.....Coach Harbaugh this is for you. Everything that is going on right now is just bringing us closer together. I love my team.

And we love you Blake.

Ignore the noise and savor every minute of this group.

Top 5 QB recruits during the NIL Era (2020-Present)

2020
1) Login to view embedded media
Stayed at Bama for 3 seasons. Started in 2022 and had a great season- losing to UGA in the BCS Championship after Bama beat UGA in the SEC championship. Missed the BCS his senior season- Great career for the #1 overall NFL Draft pick in 2023.

2) Login to view embedded media In the transfer portal for a second time after filing miserably at Clemson, then rehabbing his game a bit at Oregon State.

3) Login to view embedded media I hope nobody hurt themselves due to Michigan losing a commitment to Tennessee from this recruit. He bounced to UNLV, then to Louisville and didn't accomplish anything. Makes you wonder what those doing the rankings were looking at- Probably didn't have the dreaded "hitch in his delivery"...

4) Login to view embedded media Great player, but the antithesis to the folks who believe that a great QB and some targets is "what you need to win big", as he couldn't beat Michigan in 3 tries.

5) Login to view embedded media Left Washington, where he committed and still wasn't a starter for UCLA in his third season. Washington is in the BCS playoffs with a transfer QB with a Carter Smith ranking coming out of high school.

Sporting News had Malachi Nelson high on OSU and Michigan

The uncertainty of Harbaugh

Is once again having an effect on recruiting. That and the uncertain status of JJ. Most of the top QB's have found new homes and with the signing day a few days away it appears UM will be on the outside looking in again. It is mindblowing that the rankings of almost all the recruits in this class have seen their stock fall in the latest guide.I really don't expect JH to be here next year, but the contract appears ready to be signed........he is just not ready as he waits on NFL offers.

Unfortunately, Everybody's got Jokes

So I've been chilling in Turks & Caicos since Wednesday, and of course like most everyone on this board, I have been wearing something with the block letter M representing our beloved U of M and the #1 rated Michigan Wolverines!!

So of course, quite a few folks have initiated friendly conversations with me featuring the not-so-friendly word "cheating" and making cheating-related jokes about UM and Harbaugh.

The 1st couple of days I found myself saying things like "Everyone does what they are accusing UM of!" and "how could it be cheating if all teams admit decoding signs are apart of the game?", blah, blah, blah.....

So yesterday instead of being on the "defensive," I decided to jump on the offensive. I quickly told the 1st guy who tried to joke about cheating "Well, If whipping _ss 'legally' is considered cheating, then we are very guilty of that!"

Today, instead of wearing the subtle block letter M, I am rocking the conspicuous and in your face "Michigan - vs - Everybody" hat and T-shirt around the compound! I just had a guy ask to take picture of me in my hat and shirt to send to his friends who are Buckeyes to mess with them because he said he was on Michigan's side.

So, does anyone here have any stories regarding folks making cheating-related jokes as they traveled to different places or did something else since the scandal???

This time last year...

Cade McNamara and Erik All were getting ready to go to Chicago to represent their teammates. Feels like they've been gone forever but they haven't.

Crazy to think how much changes in a year.

Also crazy to think "captain" Cade entered the portal three days after OSU.

Really don't care to hear any direct or indirect complaints from either of them about how they were treated at Michigan.

Wonder if Harbaugh, as I do, wishes that Ronnie Bell had been in Chicago instead.

And to be clear I don't begrudge the transfers at face, Cade's timing....will never, ever, sit right with me.

We were all too happy at the time to notice.

I know some will be cheering for Iowa. I will be indifferent.
