Insider As of right now...

I would not at all be surprised if Greg Crippen is the starter at center this week. Nothing has been confirmed but we've gotten some strong hints over the last 24 hours or so. Have to wait to see what the next few days of practice looks like.

We'll continue to dig on it and we'll see what Saturday brings but making a change there wouldn't come as a shock to me.

Marlin Klein always prepared to be starter at Michigan, but only cares about winning

Marlin Klein was prepared to take on the TE1 role on Saturday because he always prepares like he is the starting tight end at Michigan.
But regardless of his role, he is taking what he has learned from the tight ends before him to help Michigan win.

Watched Greg Fluguar's "PEAK AROUND THE CORNER"

today said his source BTM stated: MIAMI wants in the B1G. On the B1G side, the University President's want MIAMI, the media and money interests want MIAMI. BUT keep in mind that there are absolutely no talks, 2nd or 3rd party, lawyers or anything. Keep in mind that BTM did in fact present the same info about USC in 2022. Dominos will fall before and after. Greg says, via BTM 26-29 don't be surprised if MIAMI joins the B1G.

If you were an opposing head coach, would you rather face Warren or Orji?

Pretty sure I'd rather face Warren. Our offense with him is just short pass after short pass. It requires long drives with good execution and if the QB is Warren, you know he's not capable of long stretches of good execution. Just play solid and eventually he'll make a big mistake.

With Orji, you can shift all your focus to stopping the run but since the QB is a runner, loading the box won't completely shut the run down.

I dunno. Just a thought spinning around my head.

If Orji is QB1...

The coaches must do a better job of fitting the mold to highlight Orji's skills. While this is easier said than done, the lack of adjustments to the offense thus far has been the biggest disappointment to me in Sherrone's extremely early career. However, I'm confident the same person who out-schemed Nick Saban's defense in the last game of his career can do it - he needs to step away a bit from JH and put his personal stamp on the team.

This isn't to say you scrap the playbook and go full Single-wing, but more so in the plays you call that are already installed: Power Read, Heavy Playaction, Arc Read, Traditional QB/RB mesh, rollouts, Jet sweeps, etc.

Let's address the elephant in the room: Orji can't throw, right? While that may be true, nobody knows that except for those players and coaches (2 INC, 2 TDs). However, it's also certain that the offense we saw those last three games was the offense that was run in the spring/camp.

Similar to Milroe last year, I'd get Orji reading half the field - Read 1, Read 2. If neither are open you take off.

Let's not forget—one of the greatest "players" in CFB History, Tim Tebow, couldn't throw or diagnose a defense. However, the offense was designed around him to highlight his skills and allow him to succeed.
