Remaining schedule win/loss probability

Here we go and just my opinion:

USC (30% win probability)....likely loss and a huge challenge; they are Texas with a weaker OL
Minnesota (70% win probability)...win
@Washington (55% win probability)....tossup, they lost a lot of talent but that is a tough environment and Fisch is a hell of a coach (he would rock at UM)
@ILL (45% win probability)...loss; hate Big Bert but they look to be much better
MSU (60% win probability)....has to be a win; they have a better QB but we have better talent across the board
Oregon (25% win probability)..loss
@Indiana (50% win probability)...tossup and they have definitely improved; Cignetti is a damn good coach
NW (75% win probability)...they are awful
@OSU...loss; currently 19.5 point dogs and OSU has more talent across the board

It's Good news Wednesday! 9-18-24

My good news is that we won on Saturday and have a chance to win this week. I will be rooting for every player on the home team.

My sister's birthday is Saturday, and we're planning a surprise dinner for her.

Michael goes back to the hospital on Friday for another surgery, but we should only be in for one day, and this should be his last surgery.

As a few of you know, I have given up obvious sugar in my diet. I don't eat cookies, candy, cake, donuts, soft drinks, or other apparent sugars. This all started last Thanksgiving. My A1C had crept up to 6.1, which concerned me. I did blood work last week, and the A1C has dropped to 5.8. I'm well on my way to my goal of 5.6.

The Tigers are playing meaningful baseball in September.

What's your good news?
Go Blue!

On Wink from Brian Cook at MgoBlog

Hard to disagree and I was concerned he would blitz too much.

Klatt notes that Michigan's blitz rate went from more or less average—29%, 48th nationally—to Winkball. That's a 48% blitz rate, 4th nationally. This is precisely what I was concerned about before the season: a superficially similar playbook being piloted by a veteran NFL coordinator who doesn't really respect the differences between the college game and the NFL

Football How Michigan football commits performed last weekend

Michigan football QB commit Carter Smith had a big game for his team last weekend in a 43-13 Bishop Verot victory.

Taking a look at notable performances from future Wolverines from this past weekend:

By the Numbers: Wink & the blitz

Wink Martindale said he would find balance between Michigan's successful scheme and his own.
He has blitzed on half of passing downs through three games, far above Michigan's average. Is it helping or hurting the defense? Let's go by the numbers.

The Tebow Offense

I said this a few times in the commnents during the offseason when it appeared Orji was going to be the guy. My question: Why not just go full on Florida/Tebow offense? You've got a gifted runner at QB, 2 excellent backs to go with him so option football should be easy money, and just bludgeon people, using 4th down battery ram plays as much as logically needed???? This approach has made the most sense to me all along. Granted, it's going to look God-awful, to any WR recruit out there, but at this point we are selling the future anyway. thoughts?
