Most Improbable Win Since ?

A great win... A season changing win ( hopefully) and a gutty win on a phenomenal Michigan Day !... But one of the most improbable wins from where we were late in the 4th Q since ? .... No first downs in the half a extremely limited passing threat and needing to go 80+ yds ? Only game I can think of that was reasonably equivalent was the win over UVA when Dreisbach threw to Mercury Hayes on the last play.

Insider On Colston Loveland...

Sounds like my hypothesis on him was correct on Saturday, probably could've played if he had his way but medical held him out.

Per Sherrone today:

"We'll see (on whether he plays on Saturday). Doing better. Doing a lot better. Just close to playing last Saturday. But doctors felt that it would be in the best interest that he not. So we're in a positive patch right now, so we'll see."

To me, Kalel Mullings performance today was legendary

So happy for Kalel.

I've been asking for more work for Kalel throughout the first 3 games - and was really ticked that he only got 2 first half carries against Texas. I think that was a big mistake from our offensive staff.

I've mentioned the enjoyment I've gotten from my kids getting into Michigan football (both girls - they are 10 and 8). Last year we really took a liking to KG - he was kind of our collective favorite, if you will. This year it's Kalel, and it was so much fun watching him today.

I mentioned that I think his performance today was legendary - it isn't close to the 313 yards from Biakabatuka, it wasn't the 5 TD's against OSU from Hassan, etc. What makes this legendary is that he literally carried this entire team on his back on that final drive. There was ZERO chance that we move the ball through the air on that final drive. USC knew it, we knew it, 115,000 in the crowd knew it. Yet Mullings broke off a ridiculous 50+ yard run to get us in a position to where we could legitimately win that game.

He's the clear RB1 on this roster, and I absolutely love the toughness he brings in the running game. He breaks so many tackles, and is just so much fun to watch. He's going to play in the NFL, which is not something anyone could have guessed a year+ ago.

Are there concerns from today? Absolutely. But I'll be damned if I care right now - enjoy a top 20 win, folks!

Josh, just wanna say…

You were spot on the money regarding the OL having a great week of practice. This was the best they’ve played all season so far.

Almost like it takes time for 5 guys that have been in the program a while but not really played with each other takes time to gel and trust each other.

Great statement win against a top 15 opponent as an UNDERDOG. How many times before the B1G title run could we say that under Jim?

We won this Game! (notwithstanding Orji and Kirk Campbell).

God bless Mullings. He is a UM stud and head and shoulders better than Edwards. Reminds me of Haskins. And if anyone thinks that Orji should be the starter, I have a bridge from Ann Arbor to Columbus to sell you. He absolutely cannot throw, at all, and isn't anything special as a runner. And the playcalling is just horrid. (The 2nd down pass near the goal line was simply inexplainable). If UM isn't going to throw the ball then put Edwards in at QB - even he's a better runner than Orji. Or else play Warren and at least keep the threat of a downfield pass alive.

Look, I'm beyond thrilled they won but clearly any coach should see that Orji is not the answer.
