Hall ran the ball on 2nd down & goal. Danielson commented that the spot was good, meaning t was short of the goal line, which it was.

But he also said it should be spotted at the 1/2 half yard line. Enter B1g Refs who spot it on the 1 instead.

3rd down Mullings arguably scores but is called just short of the goal line. Had the ball be spotted correctly on the play before, He's in. Now we get to run a 4th down play.

One thing to note to the 3rd down play, Gentry was pushed 2 yards back off the LOS. We were fortunate Mullings wasn't tackled for a loss.

I think the root of the issue is, he’s trying to be like his mentor instead of being like himself. If he wants to be successful here, he has to make this team into his own image. The way to do that is have an identity. Right now, this team has no identity.

He’s articulated what he wants to do on offense. Now, he needs to execute it.

I think the first matters of business is finding a new OC. The current one isn’t cutting it at all. Second, is to hit the portal hard.

Do that and he will find success.
