The Fresno State QB was a name I wasn’t able to confirm but had his name brought up in passing. His visit has been confirmed elsewhere.

Michigan is working with a group of QBs right now, Dequan Finn who has visited, Keene this weekend and Nevada’s Brendon Lewis who is in the mix too.

Lost 25+ players to the portal and can’t field a whole team so they have to bail on their bowl.

Whoever gets their place has lost valuable practice time, too.

Can confirm that Michigan has made contact with FAU RB CJ Campbell from the portal.


On top of that, Michigan has also reached out to Northwestern OL Josh Thompson. Thompson is from Fenton, Mich.


Don’t have much more to add quite yet as both are preliminary contacts.

Many of whom are MSU fans, general consensus from them was it was nice for Michigan to get into a bowl game. However they had to throw in too bad that we have to play Bama. Just had a conversation about the plans moving forward for the program.

I cannot overstate the importance of Sean Magee and what he’s been for this program when it comes to helping Sherrone Moore out. He’s organized, he’s meticulous, he’s relentless and Michigan is better off for it.

They have plans on top of plans, plans for every scenario, all the if/then statements you can imagine.

That goes for QB too. Every scenario is on the table. Whether that means adding another lower-name guy for 2025, attacking the portal on top of recruiting for 2026. Nothing is going to catch them unprepared and nothing is really off the table right now. I’m not going to share plans until there’s legitimate intel to share, but wanted to let you guys know that they’re not sitting idly by.

I know actions speak louder than words but the way Moore and Magee navigated the Underwood situation, I have a lot of confidence.

It appears that Arkansas safeties TJ and Tevis Metcalf are on campus.

Thousands of volunteers joined in the project. President Carter actually referred to our Mayor as his “token Republican.”

This is going to be insane. No name entering the portal or coming to Michigan via the portal should surprise you. This is the first year of so many things changing the landscape, and with the 105 roster limit rule there will be some surprises. This roster will likely look very different next year. A player that enters the portal can come back too. Just remember you are only working with part of the information because we don't know that player's next move or Michigan's next move. Need to let this all play out.
