JJ McCarthy showed freshman growing pains. He demonstrated the great, the good, the bad and the ugly against MSU. Hopefully he will learn how to turn his tricks while caring for the ball after Saturdays late game changing lost fumble shortly after dodging a bullet ensuing an earlier fumble out of bounds.
