Not sure anyone thought this would happen. I am pretty sure many were ready to put up a loss in the column for this game at halftime. But we all have to admit this game answered some questions.

1. Winning at Camp Randall - yes Mertz going out helped .
2. We ran the ball some , enough to create some balance
3. We got punched in the mouth right before halftime and came out with Wisky getting the ball and held up .
4. So many will hate this but Cade did his job. We didn’t turn it over and he made just enough plays .
5. The defense didn’t get curb stomped by their run game.
6. We got a ton of pressure on their QB’s and we can see we have some pass rushers.
7. Jim was pumped and it was good to see .
8. JJ got in which will make all the “ JJ should start fans “ become more vocal
9. This team fights its ass off . Corum took some shots and dished them right back.
10. CJ might have established himself as the guy going forward replacing Bell. HUGE catches.

These are some quick thoughts. But if you have time reread the 2nd half thread. So many just absurd posts. We are 5-0. Such a great W on the road. I will say the good news is there are clearly some things to improve on. But also this group is getting better each game. Moody was so clutch. But this group plays hard for 60 minutes. But this group likes each other and plays hard for each other . Jim put together a great staff and these kids have bought in. Next week will be tough in Lincoln. This group will prolly read too many press clippings and maybe start out slow. But I for one love how they have started out this year.

GO BLUE and THANKS for a GREAT DAY !
