I know I posted that tease earlier, I couldn’t contain my excitement so I apologize for not adding some context. I needed to gather my thoughts.
I had a phone call with Shannon Terry and members of On3’s leadership team today with select publishers from the Rivals network. I left that call not only impressed but reinvigorated.
First, and most important, M&BR and The Den isn’t going ANYWHERE. I asked Shannon directly about plans to potentially merge and I was told that we will NOT be merging and will be existing separately within the network. Shannon sees value in us and the brand and the untapped potential we have is off the charts. That gave me A LOT of comfort.
A lot of things still need to be fleshed out, so there will be many more updates to be had so stay tuned.
Look at the purchase this way, we are being copied and pasted onto the On3 network which means we have all of their assets, as well as their national talent, at our disposal. Our recruiting, transfer portal and NIL coverage is now endless. What a superpower we’ll be with both networks combining into one.
I am VERY excited for the future. We still have some things we have to get through but I hope I can settle some fears or concerns for the immediate future in terms of this community.
