Assessing the Mods Projections for Joe Milton: How would they compare to 2019 Big Ten QB's?
Forgive me for what I'm about to do.
I simply cannot stop myself from crunching some numbers on the MODS expectations for Joe Milton
QUESTION: How good a season would this be if Joe Milton reaches these projections?
Methodology
1. I took the mods Joe Milton 2020 projections from their article today
2. Translated those projections for 8/9/10 game schedule to a 13 game schedule
3. Compared in them with Big Ten QB Stats for 2019
Note: I hope I did this right

Chris Balas : 1840 Yds, 15 TD's 8 INT 58% (8 Game Totals)
Austin Fox : 1890 YDs 13 TD, 6 INT (8 Game Totals)
Clayton Sayfie: 2400, 18 TD's 7 INT 58% (10 Game Totals)
Mods Projections (adjusted to a 13 game schedule)
Chris Balas : 2990 Yds, 24 TD's 11 INT 58%
Austin Fox : 3071 Yds 21 TD, 10 INT
Clayton Sayfie: 3120 Yds, 23 TD's 9 INT 58%
2019 Big Ten Passing Stats (With adjusted Joe Milton 2020 Projections added)

Observation: WOW...if the most conservative of these projections (Chris Balas) comes true it will wildly exceed my expectations (as those of you who know me know). That would be FANTASTIC. With the level of our running game and defense, I think that this kind of performance from Joe would place us in contention for the East Division title (until the OSU game)
NOTE: If anything Joe Milton's projections are even better than this because we can assume the out of conference games which will not be played this years would have been easier than the average of this very difficult 2020 schedule.
