I realize he needed to go, and i am extremely glad his dismissal led to JH being hired. But the man actually did an incredible job here building an outstanding talent base, and navigating us through absolute disaster.

Here is the best example. Take a look at the starting defense he inherited in 2011 from rich Rod:

DL: Craig Roh, Will Heininger, Mike Martin, Quinton Washington

LB: Mike Jones, Marell Evans, Cam Gordon

CB: Troy Woolfolk, JT Floyd

S: Thomas Gordon, Jordan Kovacs.

Starting defense featured ONE nfl draft pick (Martin) picked in the third round, and he was a Carr recruit.

Harbaugh, inherited from Brady, 2015 starting defense:

DL: Glasgow, Henry, Taco, Wormley

LB: Gedeon, Ross, Morgan

CB: JD, Peppers (was corner as freshman under hoke)

S: Wilson, Hill.

NINE nfl draft picks. NINE.

The transformation he pulled off in terms of talent, especially on defense, was unbelievable. Remember hurst, chase, and mone were also on the bench for that DL.

Brady was absolutely unreal at identifying defensive talent. Wish him the best.
