Some people just love to complain about anything on here. They are all experts and know more than Harbaugh and his staff!

I used to be surprised by comments like this but they are the "go to" response by many fans about ANY topic related to UM football and they won't change until we beat OSU. Pessimism is for the weak.

We all get disappointed. I'm as optimistic as it comes. I didn't like what I saw on the field last year at all. I also looked at it and still do as an anomaly.
Lose 4 Olinemen to the draft....BOTH OTs out...a new QB who has never started a game and the top WR opts out.

On D hmm....best CB opts out...safeties are coached by an analyst....MLB out replaced by a walk on...SS out replaced by a walk on....BOTH DEs out, one for the season...you can't make this shit up! So 2-4 ..yea I know why. The complainers and self proclaimed "experts" will say those are excuses.

I might add replacing 4 olinemen and no spring ball is a killer. Not to mention a new QB who has no timing or chemistry with his WR. I know Milton was a bust but Cade could have used those reps to. Again the "experts" will say that's more excuses.

After a little more thought, I think you’re onto something, golfer. I don’t think all pessimism is from a weak position, though. And I know you didn’t say it was. Some pessimism is from perceived reality, and maybe mixed with a certain amount of lost hope. Thanks for the education, golfer - I appreciate it!

I agree with you Mac. Given everything you pointed out, the COVID lockdown hit our team really hard from the lost spring ball practices that would have helped all these new pieces to begin to jell. Probably hurt us more than it hurt a lot of other B1G teams?

That's honestly why I'm not concerned about this year. Lots of talent on this team. More than many think!
