Wisconsin finally won a game. Not sure I would have picked them to be the last Big Ten team to get a win.

With that said, I think they'll still be a force in the conference. I think they are better than their record indicates. Whereas I think MSU's record is a direct reflection of how good MSU really is right now. *sigh*

Wisconsin was actually dead last in the PWR before last weekend, it was sort of stunning to see. They have now leaped ahead of AIU to 58th. Maine and Colorado College are down there wallowing with them in the bottom 10.

Seven teams got first place votes in today's USCHO poll. That's reflective of a season that's been so topsy turvy to date.

My ballot had North Dakota on top, but I could have been susceptible to arguments for three or four other teams. I strongly considered Minnesota St.

Glad I had to make my Big Ten prediction earlier. If I had to make it now, I would have a much tougher time deciding where everyone falls.

I think Michigan State will make some noise in the conference play downs. Tom has them playing better than I expected.

We didn't look like it on Friday night in Princeton when we lost to a 1 win Princeton team.

I thought a good year would be a .500 season. We aren't at the .500 mark (5-8), but we are 4-4 in our last 8. So I guess they are somewhat meeting my expectations and I should be happy. *sigh*
