He of the Lansing arrest and suspension Grant Perry?
We all chided him for the poor choice of spending his off time in a city LOOKING for ways to screw the University of Michigan and its players. And I’m sure Grant received plenty of grief over that poor choice for months and months.
I think the throw to Perry was intentional to send a statement to THEM and to Perry, andnit got him off on a good start that led to some important plays later in the game (including the “pass defense” on that almost-pick-6!! Only a great play by Perry stopped it).
So WELL DONE GRANT , and WELL DONE COACHES in sending that early statement.
