Many people have said the betting on himself comment by Coach Harbaugh means an incentive laden contract. I may be completely wrong but I don’t think so. A four year extension was on the table the signing of which was held off due to the COVID mess. I’m sure all involved understood why. The optics would have been awful. I’m told a certain AD pulled back on the previous agreement. Coach Harbaugh doesn’t do business that way, is not happy and I agree with him. If the previously agreed upon contact isn’t put back on the table Coach Harbaugh will bet on himself meaning he will finish his contact betting on his ability to turn things around next year. If he does he will get paid and if not ............
