UM Commit Week in Review thru 9-28

COOPER MARODY bagged an assist against the NTDP U-17 team on Friday night and followed that up with a goal and two assists Sunday against the big boys, the NTDP U-18 team.

KYLE CONNOR scored a goal against the NTDP U-18 team Saturday night. In the same game Saturday, NICK BOKA replied with a goal of his own for the U-18 team against Connor's Youngstown side.

In Saturday night's Chicago-Green Bay USHL matchup, both CONNOR MURPHY and SAM MILETIC found the back of the net with a goal apiece.

HAYDEN LAVIGNE stopped 15 of 17 in Waterloo's 2-1 loss to Fargo on Friday.

Bob, can you talk to us about Hayden Lavigne? Is he a high end goalie that can carry a team? Can you compare him to another UM goalie? I'm trying to see how excited we should be about this kid. Thanks!

I haven't seen Lavigne play yet. I know he's a big goaltender with an above average skill set. His USHL numbers were not outstanding, but numbers can be misleading.

He has every opportunity to succeed at Michigan, but doesn't come in with a can't miss tag.
