Let's start with the D this week. The greatest thing about this defense is they have not shown one bit of quit in their DNA. Again, today, they played well enough to win the game. The D line dominated in the second half. The hitting today was outstanding. We held IU to 20 points. That should be enough.

On the downside, it takes a half for Wink to figure things out.
Overall, the D is pretty good. They are not great like last year, but they are okay.

Special teams: Z is $$. Punting is crap. We can't put two or three good punts in a row together. It hurt us today.
Z may be the MVP for the entire team.

Offense: Well, it's not good. Let's start with personnel choices. The Orji experiment needs to be put to bed. Once in a while, it works, but mostly, it's a waste of plays. It's predictable and disrupts the flow of the game. Donovan Edwards will go down as legendary for his play at Michigan, but this stuff has mismanaged him and Mullings. If they flipped Mullings to DE carries and gave Edwards carries to Mullings, I think this offense would be much better than it's shown. I think Mullings would be a workhorse on any other team. The personal choices and timing of personnel changes have killed momentum over and over.

Play calling: In a word, it's bizarre. It seems like every time we get momentum, this staff takes a chainsaw to it. Bringing in Orji after Warren completes a couple of passes in a row. With the game on the line, we run a trick play where one of our Smurf wideouts ends up being the QB. This week, we get a gift on the seven-yard line, and we telegraph three run plays and end up kicking a FG. The list goes on.

Players: Davis Warren should have played better. When he wasn't running for his life, he missed some throws that could have really made a difference. Unfortunately, most of the night, he was running for his life. The offensive line was crap most of the night. Link and Hinton were beaten on the outside all night, and none of our backs could get to the second level without contact. Our receivers can't win 50/50 balls.

Offensive staff: Top to bottom, a crap show. Kirk is horrible. Serrone, terrible, all of them, terrible.

It is what it is. I don't have answers. I hope Sherrone can figure it out because we are stuck with him for at least one more year. Everyone on his staff should be on notice.
