This is why teams lose. There is about 40 seconds or so on the clock. Packers are down around the 25 or so with no timeouts. 3rd down and about 5 or so. Not enough time to go down and work the field for a fg. It's simple...you play everything in front of you in the middle of the field. No timeouts available.
So what do the Bears do? They let Nelson run all the way down the middle of the field with no safety help. This again is with the best long ball thrower in football.
Geez louise. The DC for the Bears is getting paid for this call? They need to give Greg Robinson a call and hire him for a lot less money.
Look...it can't be easy even if the Packers could get a 45 yard fg. Know your environment and personnel on the other side of the field.
