Does Warde's job performance start getting talked about in REALLY glowing terms?
Hockey, men's and women's basketball, baseball - all on really solid ground and others can comment on the programs I'm not as familiar with.
From the above the Juwan Howard hire which was met with plenty of seemingly deserved criticism is pretty safely assessed as a home run right now. This in response the horrific situation of having to replace Beilein.
But beyond that, if Jim ends up winning a championship(s) here, his handling of Jim's situation will have to go down as legendary right? Straight up AD ninja stuff no?
Jim was clearly in a slump - performing under his and our expectations and beneath his salary. So instead of cutting ties, buyouts were removed salary was renegotiated (in nearly half) and Jim and Warde talked about both of their expectations for the program. So far so good. In fact - it looks like some astoundingly good department leadership on 10/18/2021, right?
