Kerridge and Houma are both gone. If we get Walker and Davis, Johnson can stay healthy, Higdon steps up, Smith would be a great asset at FB.(I'm not counting on Green or Isaac. Don't thin Green has it, Isaac may have it physically, but not mentally) Since we actually run the FB, Smith would get carries. Since the FB lines up close to the line of scrimmage, he will get to the holes sooner. He has the push to convert short yardage and the ability to make a big gain if he pops through. He has also been used in the passing game, and we have thrown to our FBs. I think his size and strength will make him a very good lead blocker, as well. We've had good FB play this season but Smith could even be an upgrade there.
