I was not surprised to hear that he smokes all of the OL in sprints. He played lacrosse against my son at Rockford and I know the Rockford coach well. He told me that their team ran 40 yard sprints and that Braden was the second fastest kid on a very good team full of small, fast players. The problem Ben seems to have is his lateral movement. He struggles moving laterally against the pass rush. I have wondered for some time if they would try him at another position. Don't know if he has good hands, so TE may be a stretch. He could certainly handle the blocking required there. If we are going to run a 3-4, it would be interesting to see how he would do at DE. He would be a handful for an OT to handle. He moves very well straight line and he could certainly set the edge.
