I posted this in the other thread but it was getting lost. Here is what I gathered on new grad transfer commit Willie Allen.
Some quick notes. This is the first grad transfer Michigan has landed since I've been on the beat. We weren't exactly sure who was handling them, but I got some info and posted, I guess I'll handle them moving forward.
I just posted the story in the op. Allen will join the program in January and will partake in spring practices. The expectation is for him to start somewhere next year. He's huge at 6-6, 340. He could play tackle or guard.
I'm told the staff is fired up about this one and that there is a feeling he was the best OL in the portal. In fact, there is also a belief that he will be an NFL Draft pick.
