Starting with the negatives:

Bullpen. Nathan and Joba still seem to suck. Al Al as well.

Shane Greene and Price have struggled, and Anibal had a rough outing recently.

Rajai Davis is scuffling at the plate, as is Iglesias, whose shins are still something to keep an eye on.

Positives:

Great hitting starts by all the other OF's not named "Davis".

Cespedes looks strong. Gose is hitting the cover off of the ball, and it looks like the J.D. of 2014 was not just a flash in the pan. Daniel Fields looks like a top-notch prospect - Even better than Moya. Xavier Avery, Tyler Collins and Wynton Bernard have all handled the bat well.

Castellanos looks like he's made some strides.

Catcher James McCann looks like he can handle the bat.

Josh Wilson looks like he will be a decent utility man option.

Verlander looks like he might be back to form, as well as Soria. Rondon hasn't been scored upon yet, and his arm hasn't fallen off either. I love the way Simon is pitching. Dixon Machado may be able to push Iglesias soon - Good glove and maybe a better bat.

Problem with my assessment is this: I haven't been able to watch one game yet (I live in the Chicago area) and am basing eveything on reports and box scores. For those who have seen the team play, is there anything I'm missing?
