I started feeling numbness in my feet yesterday, like they were asleep, and it progressed up through my legs and into my midsection. I went to the ER and they transferred me to another more renowned hospital (in Columbus of all places). I have had multiple MRIs and they found a lesion on my spinal cord in my neck. Although more testing is being conducted, the initial diagnosis is not good. It is likely a condition that will affect me for the rest of my life. I could use the power of prayer. I'm hoping to still make it to Ann Arbor this weekend, but something like this really puts life into perspective...
