My first thought when Detroit fell to 5 is they need to package that pick with players and make a trade.

Personally I prefer the second scenario, maybe not neccesarily OG, but if you aren't going to get a generational player like Wemby, then I think you need to go get a proven player. Figure out which of all the young players you have stocked up that you want to be part of the core, and then be willing to trade literally everyone else.
