OT: OK, time to make some lifestyle changes, I know the Fort comes through for these conversations.

Ok. Over 50 years old now. The 6 pack has been gone for 20 years, still look good with the shirt untucked, but now when I tuck it in, starting to get the Dad body, the CoVID stay at home didn't help. I do not have Diabetes, but probably approaching the type 2 thing I hear about. Legs and arms no fat, just the mid section starting to creep up a bit on the waistline.

I'm active for my work, lots of walking on the job, but I dont' excercise regularly, I love meat and potatoes waaaaay more than I should. I need to make some changes, but I don't understand HOW FOOD WORKS. I hear about carbs and calories and sugars and protein but they're just words, I don't understand how they affect each other. I need to start now, I waited too long, it's time to get serious, get a little education and make a plan with some baby step goals/adjustments, and some sustainable changes.

Give me some good starter books to read.
