Okay, so likely no b-ball recruiting announcement today and the mods said it's going to be a slow news Memorial Day weekend. That makes it a perfect time for "Now For Something Completely Different" (I think that line is from Laugh-In, but the old memory isn't what it used to be, so please correct me). Anyway, let's list our favorite rock albums -- and I'm using "rock" loosely. Top 3, Top 5, Top 10, Top 20, doesn't matter. Here are mine. I'm not going with more than one album per artist; this list would look a little different if I did. Also, no compilations or best ofs, allowed, but live albums are fine:

1. Close to the Edge - Yes
2. Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen
3. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
4. The Sounds of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel
5. O - Damien Rice
6. Turnstiles - Billy Joel
7. Little Earthquakes - Tori Amos
8. Late for the Sky - Jackson Browne
9. London Calling - The Clash
10. Automatic for the People - REM
11. Who's Next - The Who
12. Hotel California - The Eagles
13. Bat Out Of Hell - Meatloaf
14. Armed Forces - Elvis Costello
15. Souvenirs - Dan Fogelberg
16. A Man Called E - E
17. Live Bullet - Bob Seger
18. Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull
19. Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
20. Nightsongs - Stars

Probably missed a few, but the list is pretty good.

Okay, Lay On Macduffs
