I'm not sure what their decisions are, but Jett and in my opinion Bufkin's NBA decisions are the key to this "process" being something that can produce eventual results.
Dug and Reed, and presumably Dickinson is a good core, but not a tournament team unless surrounded by proven wing talent.
However, a key thing is if both guys enter the draft and go through the process, the program has to wait until June.
The best portal talents fly off the shelves fast.
Obviously those guys can do whatever they want, but the program has to be careful here too.
For me, the best case scenario is Jett just decides Stay or Go.
He stays, we go to work on the portal, pending inevitable non-playing time roster attrition.
He goes, we go get a high end portal guy.
We are probably just gonna have to wait until June for Bufkin.
I have no idea how we protect ourselves if he decides last minute (as all our guys tend to do).
