Sadly, it's nice when we simply get manhandled and outplayed.
I don't have to think 'had the refs made this call or not that call' or had one of our OL not missed an assignment then we could have won. No questions about one play here and one call there.
We got our arses handed to us and all the luck and a change of 50 calls would not have impacted the game. No internal what ifs, no anger thinking we could have/should have won.
A straight up beating is easier to accept.
Side note: I'm watching the Bad News Bears. Damn the nostalgia of life back then and simple rec league ball (before kids played all year round) is awesome
