Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh was still making the rounds Thursday in Georgia, notably chasing four-star linebacker Roquan Smith. In a story in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Macon County coach Larry Harold said that Harbaugh was relentless to show his passion for Smith, even visiting his mother at work at a local college.

"He also visited with Roquan's aunt and uncle," Harold said of the nation's No. 6 outside linebacker and No. 77 overall prospect, via rivals.com. "He did the same things as (Georgia) coach (Mark) Richt. He visited some people for us and shook some hands. All three of those men coming here was a big deal to our community. It gave people something to get excited about. It gives our younger players motivation to work hard."

Harbaugh also made an in-home visit with Gainesville, Ga., cornerback Chris Williamson, along with U-M secondary coach Mike Zordich and defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin.

Williamson will announce his decision on Fox Sports 1's recruiting show at 10 p.m. Monday.

Meanwhile, Michigan's search for a running back in the 2015 class continues. While U-M continues its pursuit of Cass Tech tailback Mike Weber, currently committed to Ohio State, its other options are fading.

Two tailbacks declined Michigan's overtures earlier this week, staying with their current commitments, and now Titus Booker of Grayslake, Ill., also has passed on the chance, according to scout.com. He was scheduled to visit U-M this weekend.Michigan's chances with Long Beach (Calif.) Poly five-star cornerback Iman Marshall might have improved a bit, as Marshall canceled this weekend's trip to Oregon. Most experts are all still predicting that he will stay close to home and attend USC, though.
