2016 Harbaugh damn near shocked the world by almost beating osu in the shoe with most of Hokes guys...2017 pretty much the same when Michigan went through 5 QB changes yet people wanted Harbaugh fired.
2018 Michigan got blownout and everyone wanted Harbaughs head.
2019 Another osu blowout more fire Harbaugh
2020 it was well past torches and pitchforks...
2021...beat osu B1G title and CFP...people bitched about losing to Georgia even though that may have been one of the greatest defenses in the last 25 years.
2022...13-1....1st 13-0 season ever! Loss to tcu where the coaches and players made errors they hadn't made in 2 years and they lost. Yet people bashed away. 25-3 over 2 years is not good enough!
Now many want Howard fired.
19-20... 19-15 covid
2020-2021... 23-5 B1G regular season title ...NCAA elite 8
2021-2022...19-15 sweet 16...people wanted Howard fired. Howard started 2 freshmen a sophmore and a transfer point guard. Like JH in 2017 when he went 8-5...Harbaugh had a young team.
Now 17-13 this year with 3 starting freshmen a sophmore and junior with 10 new players on his team and people are screaming for his head.
Its gotten really old. People said it was excuses with Harbaugh when he had young teams. Yet thats what 2017 was!
There are no excuses just a young team that gelled late in the season but can't finish. So people want to fire the coach that has had 2 straight Sweet 16s who lost so much off his roster with 2 starters leaving off last years team and more transferring and graduating.
In todays college sports climate nothing is predictable. JH could lose Kobe and Jett. 2 more starters. Possibly Hunter. He will have to wait for them to make their decisions and lose ground with possible transfers to fill the voids they would leave.
My point in all this fire the coach bullshit gets real old! John Beilein had a 15-17 season...a 15-15 season actually had 3 losing seasons in his 1st 5 years.
The armchair point guards on here and the other sites need to join the armchair QBs and give this fire the coach thing a rest!
