Of the three guys we acquired for JD, I don't see a single one that looks like a surefire major league player. I especially like Jose King, who has no homers in 286 minor league at bats.
We did pretty well on the Cespedes for Fulmer trade, obviously.
Price for Norris and Boyd doesn't look very special right now.
But I love how Ausmus is apparently blameless. I count two guys (Fulmer and JD) having good seasons, and several others underachieving badly. I guess the manager has no responsibility for getting the team to perform.
