I’m sorry I’ve been a little silent as of late, been trying to navigate this transition and have had some things come up.
Wanted to continue to provide some updates for you all about what’s next.
For the next few weeks, it’s going to be status quo for all of us. No changes, no new systems and same infrastructure.
As of right now, we’re looking at a July 1 timeframe when things will start to change across the network. I would be prepared for the site to start looking like On3’s system, which includes the site as a whole AND message boards. There shouldn’t be any kind of drastic changes with how the site will function but we’ll be getting a much needed upgrade as we modernize the site. I’ve seen mock ups of a few things and I love it. It’s what we’ve been missing.
Again, NO changes will be made as for the direction of the site as a whole. Possibly some branding differences and other minor tweaks but those will be figured out when we get there. Who we are, how we report and how the community functions does not change.
As for subscriptions, I don’t have any answers for those who have subscriptions to Rivals and On3 but I do know there is some talk of a bundle deal for both where you can get read-only access to the other network (and vice versa if a new subscriber wants to read us). I will share what I know as soon as I get something more concrete. A lot of it is going to be simply transferred over.
This is going to be a huge opportunity to get some eyeballs on us and provide a new level of content with features and support from both a national and organizational standpoint that we have desperately needed for a long time.
Very exciting times ahead. Stay tuned.
