Just thinking....how about bringing Derek Mason in from Vanderbilt (JH connection) as co-DC with Don Brown. Given Mason’s background as a defensive back coach, he would be a great compliment to Zordich and also would help recruiting. Brown has had his moments here and would also be able to work with the linebackers (in addition to BJM). We would also keep Don‘s recruiting connections in the Northeast alive and well.
The 2 as co-DC would bring some innovation as well as experience.
