*** Michigan offered 2021 Texas DT Ike Iwunnah today. He committed to Colorado a few days ago, but I'm told he's at least open to hearing what Michigan has to say.
*** I spoke to his high school recruiting coordinator (yes, Texas high schools have recruiting coordinators) and they had a really positive conversation with Jim Harbaugh today. Harbaugh personally extended the offer.
*** The entire staff was on the call, including new Co-DC Maurice Linquist, who obviously has strong Dallas-area ties. Linguist is from Mesquite, which is the next town over from Garland, where Iwunnah goes to high school. Linguist should help connect in this recruitment.
*** His recruiting coordinator actually visited Michigan last year when he brought up five-star running back Camar Wheaton, so he's familiar with the program and staff.
