I’m being sincere. Change my mind if you think I’ve lost perspective. But this is where I’m at today.
To catch the talent and momentum of Ohio state feels impossible to me
Except for (2018) #22 class, Michigan has strung together 5 consecutive top 10 recruiting classes and one top 5 class. Nevertheless, I feel like we are light years behind Ohio state. It’s ridiculous. Don’t know how that ever changes to be honest.
There such a large gap - a Grand Canyon of sorts - that looks like it can’t be bridged
The caliber of athlete they have on the field at every position is another level. NFL talent everywhere - speed and power.
Ordinary D1 teams have no chance. Michigan can almost hang with them from a recruiting and talent perspective (close) but they’re still wiping the floor with us. The Indiana’s, Maryland’s and Nebraska’s have zero chance against them.
If Ohio state handles Wisconsin as well in a couple of weeks - the B1G is a wrap. Season over.
If there truly is this much separation than this is not fun anymore.
I welcome your thoughts.
