*** Michigan safeties coach Ron Bellamy was in Louisiana tonight and stopped by to see Rivals100 Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab safety Austin Ausberry. Michigan hosted Ausberry for an unofficial visit last month and remains a contender in his recruitment. While SEC programs Auburn and Florida seem like safe picks, Bellamy's ties to Louisiana have Michigan right in the thick of things. Ausberry is looking to make a return trip to Michigan before he makes a decision. Keep in mind that Ausberry's younger brother, 2023 Rivals100 linebacker Jaiden Ausberry, is a priority for the Wolverines next cycle. Bellamy also swung by Baton Rouge (La.) Woodlawn to see 2023 Rivals100 cornerback Jordan Matthews, another top priority for next cycle.

*** Michigan tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh is in Idaho tonight seeing Michigan tight end pledge Colston Loveland. As I mentioned earlier this week, Auburn is still making a run at Loveland, so the Wolverines are looking to keep him completely locked in. Right now, I don't have much reason to worry. Michigan defensive line coach Shaun Nua is in Los Angeles and is seeing defensive tackle commit Mason Graham. While he has notched recent offers from Oregon and USC, the three-star prospect from Anaheim (Calif.) Servite remains completely solid.

*** The staff is slated to see some big 2022 targets tomorrow. Sherrone Moore is slated to be in Seattle to see Rivals100 offensive lineman Josh Conerly. Bellamy will remain in Louisiana and will see Notre Dame wide receiver commit Amorion Walker. George Helow will be in Jacksonville to see top safety target Damani Dent. Mike Macdonald will be in Chicago to see new linebacker target Jimmy Rolder. A few staff members are expected to be at King vs. Cass Tech to see top defensive tackle target Deone Walker as well as top 2023 quarterback target Dante Moore.
