Flat and soft. Sitting in my seat now with about 50 people left in arena and energy level about the same. Not crowds fault but team certainly got no spark from us til the end. Awful, crushing blow this early.

How is this a crushing loss? Didn't UM lose to some team in

a tourney finals last year. I can't even remember their name.

It's just some poor home non conference loss whereas they had a win over Syracuse. I don't see how this game matters in the big picture other than some overrated seeding position.

Give me the big picture downside of this loss.

The youngins have had a lot on their plate

Recently traveling to New York for two tough games, then playing in the B1G/ACC Challenge, and with a trip to Arizona coming up - not to mention final exams about to start. They were probably bound for a letdown. Still they'd have won today if NJIT hadn't shot the lights out (11/17 from 3).

Youthnis a concern for JB. He has to play them for them to learn and see

themselves on video. yet he has to put the team in the best position to win. I think we are younger this year than the past 2 years. Not sure of that but it seems that we have 'Spike', and that's it for ole guys. "74
