won a Congressional seat!!!
I am so excited and happy for my friend Brian Mast who has won the 18th Congressional District seat in Florida tonight.
Brian Mast was an EOD Specialist in the Army and now is a retired Army veteran, he is a double amputee from an IED in Afghanistan while working with the Rangers. Since his injury he has graduated from Harvard, volunteered with the Israel Defense Force for 2 weeks, and work as a bomb specialist for homeland security. A very inspiring story.
Brian has helped me through some very hard times in my life, always willing to be a sounding board for me and offering me advice when needed despite his busy schedule. I am so happy for him and wanted to share with this board that a true American hero has just won a Congressional seat.
