Swept by a 3-17 Northwestern team. So much for a playoff spot. Thank goodness for our softball team.

It was a tougher than I expected, but I thought we would be fourth at best in the Big Ten this year after all the firepower we lost after last year. I knew Minnesota nad OSU would be better than us, and I suspected IU might be as well. The surprises were MSU and Purdue finishing ahead of us, especially MSU.
