I think about Jennings and wonder why he needed to sign early if he wanted to go to Michigan but the Harbaugh situation had not yet clarified itself. If he waited until February, no doubt he’d have a clearer understanding of the big picture and I can’t imagine Maryland would not still have a spot for him at that time. I’m just surprised at the number of kids who feel the need to sign early when there is uncertainty with programs that they are interested in or committed to when they could simply wait a little bit and have their questions answered. @ejholland
