Even if Cade isn't the second coming, its pretty clear that without a semi functioning QB nothing works. If you don't have a real QB, you cant run the ball, execute any kind of an offense (How bad did Gattis's play calling look until they put Cade in Saturday?). One thing is clear moving forward, you need a QB to compete for anything in college football (including a win against Rutgers). A good QB can make a bad team avg, an avg team good, and a good team great. With all of the injuries and draft defections, we are a bad team looking to become avg. With a little luck, we can become an Avg team on the verge of being good by the time the Game starts (hopefully to the point where we don't get run off the field and compete), with an opportunity to make the leap from good to...
