Where I live, we used to have a BBQ place called "Kings Taste." The BBQ was to die for, and people came from all over. When you went to the window, you could order ribs or chicken, and then you stood there and let your mouth water. For a slab of ribs, you got a layer of bread soaked in King's Sauce, ribs drowned in Kings sauce on both sides, and another layer of bread soaked in King's Sauce. Wrapped in white butcher paper and put in a brown paper bag. There was no place to sit, and they were open until 2 am. When the founder, Mr. Thomas, died, the place was never the same.
Fortunately, the family had the secret recipe for the sauce, and I can still get it at various stores around the area. It's a legend because it's unique and delicious.
