the rest of the way. ND takes care of business the rest of the way and stays undefeated. A SEC team automatically gets a playoff bid. Big 12 will be in the discussion, as well as a pac 10 school too. Unless the loser of the ND vs Stanford game gracefully bows out of the discussion.....oh but Stanford has to beat Washington too. Being that ND isnt in any conference for football....do you leave them out purposely to make them join a conference, barring they stay undefeated. Do you punish an 11-1 big ten champ Michigan team because of the game 1 loss to ND??? I know these things work themselves out, but what if these unique scenarios occur???
