Both programs with great tradition, great academics, and tons of resources when it comes to their respective programs.
Last year on paper they probably had more talent but we mauled them at home. Other years the same happens to us.
Both schools have excellent head coaches and high quality assistants.
If Notre Dame officially joins the ACC and has to play Clemson every year and get steam rolled, they will have what is effectively our OSU
We don’t hand out six figure bags of cash and we have some measure of expectation for our athletes to actually be students. Clemson and OSU...not so much.
I’m quite sure after Clemson manhandles ND there will be plenty of Kelly critics spouting off about how the talent difference isn’t all that great if you just look at it this way or that way. Should be interesting.
