2026 defense
I’ll start with I think Wink could go back to the nfl but I’m sure we’d make a good hire with the same scheme likely in place. If it ain’t broke no need to fix it.
Thoughts on 2026 interior DLine? Obviously Trey pierce and Etta will likely be there but who else steps up there? Maybe Palepale. Maybe Moten. Maybe Beigel but he has to develop maybe more than others. Maybe Kanka could develop into one of those guys as well. Feel like we’ll bring more transfers in there as well.
Secondary likely will remain very good still. Hillman, Hill, Zeke, Curtis, Earls, Mangham, and other good players will be in that room most likely in 2026.
2026 LBs probably will need a transfer but Owusu-Boateng and Sullivan could be very good there. Troy Bowles has a good shot at being a starter as well.
2026 Edge rushers will likely be Dominic Nichols, Brandt, Lugard, and Nate Marshall. Wouldn’t be a bad move to bring a transfer in there either with the room being young
