I’m a 20 year season ticket holder and will be very interested in Warde’s decision to fire or retain Harbaugh. With the current lame duck contract situation, he HAS to either extend Harbaugh, fire him, or reach an amicable exit. There is no way he can play out the contract and give him a pass and see how things go in 2021. If he goes that route, recruiting will take a huge hit and put the program even further behind. If he extends or goes the lame duck route, you’ll see an exodus of season ticket holders and a potential repeat of the soda for ticket promotions we saw towards the end of Hoke’s tenure. I just can’t see Warde making this huge financial mistake, so my money is on a new coach sometime after the December signing date.
