Again, I want to express my gratitude for all your prayers and well wishes. My father in law remains in the ICU. Because he’s made little progress breathing on his own, they are giving him a tracheotomy. This will alleviate the heavy sedation he’s been under and ultimately help him to be more comfortable. We have peace that this is a step in the right direction and will expedite his healing.
We’ve been able to FaceTime with him every day and for the most part he’s been very responsive giving us lots of thumbs ups, smiles and tears. We’re proud of the way he’s fighting!
