Could UM Athletic Department/Warde Manuel and NCAA have worked out a tacit agreement between themselves regarding the football "recruiting irregularities?"
Less embarrassing for NCAA regarding their total stupidity in this example of incompetence from their standpoint, and UM accepting a nonharmful Harbaugh sit-out for three weak opponent games?
I'm not a conspiracy person by any stretch of the imagination, but if this is this is the end of what we hear about this particular NCAA faux pas, I guess it would be the best solution for all involved.
