MSU looks to be signing Tucker long term. They couldn't do any better. Like it or not that puts added pressure on UM.
The state of Michigan is probably a 50/50 recruiting scenario again. Add that to what appears to be an ability to use the portal at a higher level than Michigan and they are right back to our equal on the field.
The in state recruiting will hurt us if we don't get our share of the top 5 or so players in the state who truly are difference makers. Add OSU dropping in for the cream of the crop and Jim needs to figure it out.
MSU has shown an ability to take a top 30 recruiting class and beat our average of about number 10 class, more often than not.
It has to start with PSU and OSU. You can't sell Michigan as a potential Champion until you show that we are.
It appeared a couple years ago that MSU was finally in our rear view mirror..They are back and Jim has all but built a throne for Mel so far.
